Rachel Roberts grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where sports, especially football, was unlike anything you've ever seen before.  As the only child of a sports loving dad, Rachel knew, at an early age, that she wanted to be amidst some of the greatest competitors in the world.

After graduating Cascia Hall Preparatory School, Rachel attended the University of Tulsa and earned a Bachelor of Arts with a Minor in Spanish.  During her time at TU, Rachel served as co-anchor of TUTV's sports segment and reported the social and sports calendars.  From there, she earned an internship with the KOTV News on 6 Sports team.  At KOTV, she was able to assist on multiple stories, including a feature story on Oklahoma City Thunder player, Serge Ibaka, and his younger brother, Igor.  Earning the intern position to help on this project was an opportunity of a lifetime and an experience that, to this day, fuels her drive to become a sports reporter.

Currently, Rachel is pursuing a Master of Arts studying creative media production with a focus on sports broadcasting at the University of Oklahoma while holding an internship with KOCO 5 Sports and a Production Assistant position at SoonerVision.

Rachel's goal, as a sports reporter, is to make people at home feel as if they are standing on the field with her.  Although hardships and obstacles are inevitable, she is confident that her energy, drive, and determination will set herself apart in a highly competitive field.  Rachel is very passionate about sports journalism and excited to share that passion with an audience.

Throughout her youth, Rachel competed in Morgan Horse competitions, played golf, volleyball, tennis, and danced.  During high school, she was a member of the varsity cheerleading squad and continued riding horses and playing golf with her family.  Today, Rachel is a certified spin instructor and teaches dance to girls ages 5-16.
